How to build a fiberglass fly rod
The following videos will show you step by step how to build your own fiberglass fly rod. If you are just getting started the easiest way to proceed is to pick up a kit. Our kits feature hand fit components that take the guess work out of ordering dozens of part and trying to get everything to work together. In addition to the component kit (linked above) you will need a basic set of tools and supplies. When you are getting started there is no shortage of information pushing and pulling you in multiple directions. In our videos below we use a very simple approach that allows you to focus on building skill and not on trying to master finicky thread tensioners and spring arms.
