Snake Brand reel seats are 100% made in the U.S.A. They are machined from aluminum and then hard plated for a lifetime of usability. These seats offer the top of the line in material, workmanship, and finish. The hardware features a subtle rope knurling which accents the clean classic lines of the sliding hood. The locking nut features the same knurling pattern and offers a solid fit and ease of adjustment. The solid wood inserts are turned one at a time in Washington and reflect the careful eye and decades of experience that Mike McCoy brings to his craft. The burls are selected, cut to size, stabilized, turned, and finished with a proprietary coating that resists cracking, scratching and sunlight.
