9' 9wt. four piece component kit
The 9' 9wt. blank features a progressive fast action taper. We wanted a blank that was capable of throwing large flies good distance with accuracy. We landed on a fast action (as opposed to ultra-fast action) because with a bit of line out you are able to access the reserve power of the lower sections without compromising accuracy. The blank has good turning power and can really put the pressure on.
We decided to forego paint on the blank to keep it as light as possible and make it more responsive. The blank is natural carbon fiber with a semi-gloss clear coat.
This kit contains all of the parts* to build out your rod.
This kit can be customized with the drop down menus to the right. You can select the grip, reel seat hardware, reel seat insert, and guide set color. The guide set comes complete with a hand fit tip top, full set of guides, stripping guide, hand fit winding check, and a hook keeper.
