1/4" Thread Burnisher
We have our burnishers custom made for us. They feature a solid wood handle and a nicely polished blade. These work great for packing thread, polishing silk, and micro adjusting thread wraps. This burnishing tool works great for polishing wraps and ensuring tightly packed thread. If there is one tool I use with every wrap this is it. When wrapping I use the tool to pack the thread. When the wrap is complete the smooth broad side of the tool removes any blemishes and provides a smooth even surface for finish. Made in the U.S., hand ground, and polished this tool will last a lifetime.
